Welcome on the website of the Dutch Chess Problem Society (Nederlandse Bond van Schaakprobleemvrienden – NBvS).

On this website, which is still under development, you will find information on the Society’s activities and on its magazine Probleemblad.

Through the years the Society has written several guides to different forms of problem chess. These guides can be downloaded as pdf-files.

For the visitor who enjoys going to work himself, this site– under the heading “Try it yourself” – each month offers 10 new chess problems of several types, including an endgame study, a reconstruction puzzle and a proof game.

And of course the Society can be reached through this site for asking questions on chess problems, sending in your own chess problems or becoming a member!
